Bivy Stick’s Operational Modes with NEOVIGIE
Bivy Stick works with NEOVIGIE in two key operational modes:
- Standalone Mode: In this mode, users can send manual SOS alerts directly via satellite using the Bivy Stick. These alerts are received and managed by NEOVIGIE’s centralized monitoring platform, even when there’s no paired device or cellular coverage.
- Companion Mode: This mode is activated when the Bivy Stick is paired via Bluetooth with NEOVIGIE’s lone worker app (VigieApp). When paired, VigieApp automatically switches from cellular to satellite communication as needed. This allows workers to continue using all VigieApp features—even without mobile coverage, including:
- Scheduled check-ins
- Fall detection
- No-motion alerts
- Manual SOS alerts
- Geofencing and lifeline countdown
